#1 You are a badass by Jen Sincero
Jen shares some hilarious, inspiring stories, sage advice, easy exercises to help us identify and change the self-destructing beliefs and behaviors that stop us from getting what we want, creating the life we want, and make some damn money.
“By the end of You Are a Badass, you’ll understand why you are how you are, how to love what you can’t change, how to change what you don’t love, and how to use The Force to kick some serious ass.
#2 The Universe Has Your Back by Gabriel Bernstein.
Gabby helps in guiding us back to our true power when the world seems way too overwhelming.
- She teaches us how to transform our fear into faith so that we can live a divinely guided life.
- How to release our blocks so that we can feel happy and secure.
- How to let go of the need to control everything and relax into a sense of certainty and freedom.
- We learn how to stop chasing life and truly live.
She helps us make the shift from fear to faith, for it is the faith that gives us a sense of power in a world that makes us feel powerless.
Gabrielle says, “My commitment with this book is to wake up as many people as possible to their connection to faith and joy. In that connection, we can be guided to our true purpose: to be love and spread love. These words can no longer be cute buzz phrases that we merely post on social media. Rather, these words must be our mission. The happiness, safety, and security we long for lies in our commitment to love.”
When you follow this path, you will begin to feel an expansion of energy move through you. You will find strength when you are feeling down, synchronicity, and support when you don’t know where to start, safety in the face of uncertainty, and joy when you are in pain.
If you follow the secrets Gabby reveals in this book; you will come to understand that the universe truly has your back.
#3 Dying To Be Me by Anita Moorjani
Anita shares in an impeccable way how she entered into an extraordinary near-death experience (NDE), as her organs failed after fighting cancer for almost four years. Upon regaining consciousness, Anita knew the actual cause of her disease. Her condition improved super fast, and she was released from the hospital within weeks, completely free from cancer.
“In Dying to Be Me, Anita freely shares all she has learned about illness, healing, fear, “being love,” and the true magnificence of each and every human being!”

Marianne shares her wisdom on A Course in Miracles and the many insights on the application of love in the search for inner peace. She shows us the power of love, the secret to inner peace, and how we can make our lives more fulfilling just by practicing love.
A Return to Love was my first spiritual self-help book, which Oprah Winfrey suggested on her first Live Your Best Life workshop, which then resulted in an avalanche of self-help books.
