To act out of love is to take action from a state of alert presence. It means you receive the inspiration to say something or do something out of a place of contentment and love, not out of a state of lack or fear. Inspiration always comes from that space of stillness and infinite possibilities.
FIRST KEY IS TO KNOW YOURSELF
You are the awareness in which all feelings, thoughts and emotions pass through. Feelings, thoughts, and emotions are always changing. They come and they go. Know this. Know that these too shall pass. And know that who you are is beyond all of that. You are that which never changes. You are the unchanging witness, the always present awareness.
SECOND KEY IS DISCERNMENT
Know the difference between that which is always changing and that which never changes. Discriminate between the permanent and the impermanent.
THIRD KEY IS TO SIMLPY BE THE WITNESS
When you notice a movement of energy instead of identifying with it, just observe it. Instead of saying: “I am sad, or I am excited”, say: “I am witnessing some sadness, or I am observing a whole lot of excitement”. This swift shift in perspective can remove all the heaviness from you.
Observe the feeling. Locate it. What is the sensation? Try not to associate the feeling with a past event. Try not to label it. Do not judge it, or resist it. Whatever we resist persists. Just allow it to be there. Utterly accept whatever is arising in your awareness. Embrace it regardless of what it is. It is just momentum that wants to come to the surface and be acknowledged. It wants to be looked at, transformed and healed. And the way to transform it is to accept it and embrace it. Love it.
Simply be a witness. Use this energy that is moving through your body as an opportunity to turn your focus inward. We spend so much of our time looking outside of us. Use this as a portal to turn your attention toward yourself.
Just meditate on the feeling. Breath into it. Every time you notice thoughts rolling in, return your attention to the feeling and breathe into it. Simply be a witness to the sensations.
FOURTH KEY IS TO REMAIN CALM AND RELAXED TRUSTING THAT YOU WILL KNOW WHAT THE RIGHT ACTION IS
From this state of alert stillness the inspiration will come. You will know what to do and say. It is in this state of total acceptance you are open and receptive to the infinite guidance and support that is always readily available to you. There truly is a solution to every problem, and every question already has an answer. What may seem as a turbulent moment can be tremendous opportunities for growth and expansion, deeper insights, and clarity.
FIFTH KEY IS WHEN THE INSPIRATION HITS TAKE THE RESPONSIBILTY
The more right action you take the more powerful you become. When you take the right steps you move in the direction of your true self, and when you do nothing can stop you.
